There is a Pharmacist, and another a Digital Marketer, Would you be both?

 

My Name is Eslam Walaa, a pharmacy graduate from The British University in Egypt.

I joined this faculty to satisfy my family but I don’t like this major and its modules.

Therefore, every single time I was passed exams difficultly.

At year5, I had an elective module is called “Pharmaceutical Marketing” then I got the idea to merge between what I study and what I like.

I found the passion in this module and I determine to start my career in this way but that wasn’t easy.

Although it wasn’t easy but I didn’t give up.

After graduation, I worked as a part timer for a market research project, then I tried to search and join a media agency and start my preferable career.

I face many obstacles such as the recruiters aren’t convinced how would the pharmacist work in marketing?

Beside I’m still a fresh graduate.

Otherwise I faced this problem when I searched for an internship.

  

But I didn’t give up, I was searching and searching for several times till I joined a healthcare Marketing sector.

Half of the problem was solved but I want to work in different sectors medical & non-medical and this requires to be certified.

I didn’t give up, I was searching for any chance or a part time job to learn and searching for free courses because Marketing courses are expensive and there is no income to cover these expenses.

Till I hear about scholarships from egFWD, In the beginning I was think it was for data analysis only,

But it is wrong. These Scholarships are for Digital Marketing, Data Analysis and Web Development.

 

Nothing Can describe my happiness when I reached to the apply link and all I think about how to gain certificates and knowledge as much as I can to be a certified digital marketer,

I don’t hesitate for one second to apply.

 

After my initial experience with them, I would advise anyone want to be a certified digital marketer to apply, it was the window to digital world which help you achieve your goals.

 

It may help you invest in yourself, improve your social life and working as a freelancer beside your 

mainly job.
